First Day

Can't believe we're actually here! So far today we've checked out the mall, driven by our new place, and walked around downtown. Now the plan is to take a quick nap before my first class at 5:00. We don't have many pictures yet, we were planning on taking some on the drive but A) it got dark and B) we were too ready to get out of the car to pay attention to anything else. Hopefully we'll get one of the "Welcome to North Carolina" sign next week when we pick up the dogs. For now, here are a few from the drive.

I-85 South, from Virginia to Charlotte. No lights and lots of trees.

Cheapest gas ever! In backwoods southern Virginia.

Never seen a pump like this. This gas station didn't even take cards.
